My husband contacted Casey with River Valley Pet Cremation and he told him that he would come and get her at the vet…just like the funeral home comes to the hospital when your human loved ones die. Casey contacted us and let us know when he had transported Sweet Pea. He was kind and compassionate, he asked us questions about our girl, and never even referred to her as a dog or pet, he always referred to her as “your loved one”. Sweet Pea came home today…not even 24 hours later. She came home in a beautiful box and they even saved some of her fur for us. They even cast her paw print, but it isn’t dry yet since she had such big paws, so we will get that also when it’s dry. We are thankful to have a local pet cremation service now. No one wants their fur baby to die, but it’s an unfortunate fact of life that they can’t live forever. When the unthinkable happens, please consider giving them a call. We are pleased with the kindness and compassion that our girl was shown as well as ourselves.

Lily was my loyal companion for over 16 years. She loved to travel, but the last couple of years, she suffered with canine dementia. We were on a vacation traveling… read more from Ky to Florida and then to Arkansas when her health suddenly declined. While in Mississippi, we had to make the most difficult decision to have her euthanized. Not only was this tough, but we were still 8 hours from our destination in Arkansas. The vet in Mississippi packaged Lily for the long trip in to Arkansas. Researching the internet for a pet crematorium, I came across River Valley Pet Cremation and gave them a call. They accommodated our travel time and drove an hour out of their way to meet us and pick up my Lily. At first they told me it would possibly be 3 to 7 days before they could get her ashes back to me, but with us leaving Morrilton on a specific date, they worked it out and had her back to us within 2 days. I am so appreciative of their efforts to make it happen on our timeline and for also mailing Lily’s clothing and blanket to me in Kentucky. Losing a beloved pet is hard, but their kindness gave me comfort at that time. Definitely recommend this business when needed.
